Rockets Win

The Rockets acquired the No. 38 pick used on Parsons for a conditional second-rounder that did not convey and $1.5 million. Parsons quickly became a starting wing and one of the best values in his draft class. The transaction created substantial production with almost no basketball asset cost. This grade reflects the actual value created by rights to Chandler Parsons relative to 2012 conditional second-round pick (if pick is #31-40) (not exercised); the difference remained meaningful after accounting for timing, role and opportunity cost.
