Trade Analysis
The Pacers paid a protected first-round pick, two second-round picks and a trade exception to acquire Malcolm Brogdon from Milwaukee. Brogdon immediately became a high-usage starter, gave Indiana three productive seasons and was later traded to Boston in the deal that brought Aaron Nesmith and additional draft value. Milwaukee's compensation was meaningful, particularly the first-round pick, so this was not a free acquisition. Still, Indiana received the best established player in the transaction and later preserved value when it moved him. That combination of production and downstream conversion supports a Pacers Win.
