The realized return leans Orlando's way, but the margin is modest enough to avoid calling it a decisive win. Protections and conditionality are considered so the grade does not treat every listed pick as equal face value. The grade is retrospective and does not assume Orlando could perfectly predict later player or pick outcomes at the time of the deal. Orlando received Robert Archibald and sent 2005 conditional second round pick (not exercised?). The B Magic grade and C+ the other team grade reflect realized production, role, timing, contract/cap context and downstream draft value.
