Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles
Atlanta Falcons Win Tier: standard
Confidence: high
Atlanta acquired four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Asante Samuel from Philadelphia for seventh-round pick No. 229. Samuel started 15 games in 2012, intercepted five passes and helped the Falcons reach the NFC Championship Game, then returned for a second season. Philadelphia used the pick on Bryce Brown, who flashed as a rookie and provided useful backfield depth. Brown had value, but Atlanta obtained an established impact starter for a minimal price.
Philadelphia Eagles Win Tier: standard
Confidence: high
Buffalo acquired Bryce Brown and pick No. 237, which became tackle Seantrel Henderson, while Philadelphia received No. 224, used on Beau Allen, plus a conditional future fourth-rounder. Henderson started 27 games for Buffalo and gave the Bills real value, so this was not a bad return. Philadelphia still comes out ahead because Allen became a useful rotation defender and the Eagles also secured another meaningful draft asset.
