Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Win Tier: standard
Confidence: high
Tampa Bay acquired offensive tackle Cornell Green from Miami in August 2002 for a 2003 seventh-round pick. Green appeared in all 16 games and made three starts for the Buccaneers during their Super Bowl championship season, providing useful line depth. Miami later moved the acquired late-round selection rather than turning it into a direct long-term contributor. At such a small cost, Tampa Bay received the more valuable and timely return.
Miami Dolphins Win Tier: standard
Confidence: high
Miami sent Carolina two seventh-round picks in 2003 to move up to No. 181 for linebacker Corey Jenkins. Jenkins never started an NFL game, but he appeared in all 16 games for Miami as a rookie and gave the Dolphins special-teams depth. Carolina selected Walter Young and Casey Moore; Young played seven games for the Panthers without a catch, while Moore did not become a regular-season contributor. Miami gained the slightly better return.
