Tampa Bay acquired Kellen Winslow from Cleveland for a 2009 second-round pick and a 2010 fifth-rounder. Winslow immediately set a Buccaneers single-season record for a tight end and produced 218 catches, 2,377 yards and 12 touchdowns over three seasons. Cleveland used the second-rounder on Mohamed Massaquoi and later moved the fifth-round pick, creating useful but less impactful value than Tampa received.
Tampa Bay moved from No. 19 to No. 17 and spent a sixth-round pick to secure quarterback Josh Freeman. Freeman gave the Buccaneers one excellent 2010 season and several years as the starter, but the relationship unraveled by 2013. Cleveland received No. 19 and No. 191, then moved down again and selected seven-time Pro Bowl center Alex Mack at No. 21. Mack's sustained elite play makes the Browns the stronger long-term winner.
