Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings Win Tier: standard
Confidence: high
Minnesota acquired Hall of Fame kicker Jan Stenerud from Green Bay on July 17, 1984 for a 1985 seventh-round pick. Stenerud immediately made 20 of 23 field-goal attempts in 1984 and handled the Vikings’ kicking job for two seasons. Green Bay used the seventh-round selection on Eric Wilson, who did not create comparable NFL value. Minnesota received the more useful realized return.
