Los Angeles acquired Kevin Dotson plus Pittsburgh's 2024 fifth- and 2025 sixth-round picks for the Rams' 2024 fourth- and 2025 fifth-round choices. Dotson immediately became a starting guard, then re-signed on a three-year deal and started 45 regular-season games for Los Angeles from 2023 through 2025. Pittsburgh gained better draft positions, but the Rams found a high-level long-term starter at a manageable trade price.

Pittsburgh sent Kenny Pickett and pick No. 120 to Philadelphia for No. 98 and two 2025 seventh-rounders. The Steelers used No. 98 on Payton Wilson, who has become a productive linebacker with 181 career tackles and two interceptions through 2025. Pickett served as Jalen Hurts’ backup on a Super Bowl champion and later brought Philadelphia Dorian Thompson-Robinson plus a fifth-round pick.
