Buffalo moved from No. 22 to No. 16 for linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, sending Baltimore a third-round pick and swapping a fifth-rounder into the deal. Edmunds became an immediate starter, made two Pro Bowls and spent five seasons directing the Bills’ defense. Baltimore’s return became even larger through subsequent moves, helping create the picks used on Hayden Hurst, Mark Andrews, Kenny Young and other players while also feeding the later Lamar Jackson trade package.

Arizona jumped from No. 15 to No. 10 in the 2018 draft for quarterback Josh Rosen, sending Oakland third- and fifth-round picks. Rosen lasted one season with the Cardinals before Arizona drafted Kyler Murray and traded him away. Oakland used No. 15 on tackle Kolton Miller, who developed into a long-term starter and Pro Bowler, making the Raiders the overwhelming winner even before accounting for the additional picks.
Miami traded the 62nd pick in 2019 and a 2020 fifth-rounder to Arizona for quarterback Josh Rosen, betting that the previous year’s No. 10 pick could rebound in a new setting. Rosen started only three games for the Dolphins, threw one touchdown against five interceptions and was waived before the 2020 season. Arizona used No. 62 on Andy Isabella and later recycled the fifth-round asset in the Kenyan Drake trade.
