Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Kansas City Chiefs Win Tier: standard
Confidence: high
Kansas City acquired veteran quarterback Steve DeBerg from Tampa Bay on March 31, 1988, sending safety Mark Robinson and 1988 fourth- and eighth-round selections to the Buccaneers. DeBerg became the Chiefs' primary starter for much of the next four seasons and delivered an excellent 1990 campaign, giving Kansas City substantially more immediate and sustained value from the exchange.
