Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs
Cincinnati Bengals Win Tier: standard
Confidence: high
Kansas City moved up three spots in the 2023 third round for tackle Wanya Morris, sending Cincinnati pick No. 95 and a sixth-rounder. Morris supplied 16 starts across three Chiefs seasons, but the Bengals used No. 95 on safety Jordan Battle, who became a full-time starter and recorded four interceptions and 125 tackles in 2025. Cincinnati also received the extra pick, creating the stronger return.
Kansas City Chiefs Win Tier: minor
Confidence: high
Atlanta’s June trade for Wanya Morris looks substantially worse after the Falcons waived him on August 30 before he played a regular-season snap for them. Atlanta had sent Kansas City a 2027 sixth-round pick and received Morris plus a 2027 seventh. The Falcons effectively paid a one-round late-pick downgrade for a short offseason evaluation, while Kansas City upgraded its draft position and lost no 2026 regular-season production.
