Baltimore Ravens received
2006 second round pick (#56-Chris Chester)
2006 third round pick (#87-David Pittman)
New York Giants received
2006 second round pick (#44-Sinorice Moss)
New York moved up 12 spots in the second round on April 29, 2006, sending Baltimore picks No. 56 and No. 87 for No. 44. The Giants selected Miami wide receiver Sinorice Moss. He played 37 regular-season games over four Giants seasons, starting only twice and catching 39 passes for 421 yards and three touchdowns. Moss also returned 24 kickoffs for 465 yards, but the trade-up never produced a durable offensive role.
Baltimore turned the move down into Chris Chester at No. 56 and David Pittman at No. 87. Chester became the centerpiece, beginning a 169-game NFL career with substantial Ravens service, while Pittman added seven Baltimore games, one start, and two interceptions. The two-pick package therefore produced both useful depth and a long-lived offensive lineman, giving Baltimore strong aggregate value.
2022 4th round pick (110th overall, Daniel Faalele)
New York Giants received
Ben Bredeson
2022 5th round pick (173rd overall, Marcus McKethan)
2023 7th round pick (240th overall; subsequently traded by New York)
Baltimore Ravens received 2022 4th round pick (110th overall, Daniel Faalele) in the 2021-08-31 exchange with New York Giants. Daniel Faalele developed into a substantial Ravens offensive-line contributor and starter from the No. 110 selection. The realized value remains close enough to support an even result.
The Giants acquired defensive lineman C.J. Okoye from Baltimore for a 2028 seventh-round pick, with the deal finalized during roster cutdowns. Okoye appeared in 13 games for the Ravens in 2025 and reunites with head coach John Harbaugh and defensive line coach Dennis Johnson. New York gets the current-read edge because a distant seventh is a small price for a young developmental lineman with real NFL snaps and direct scheme familiarity.
