Philadelphia Eagles received
1999 7th round pick
Baltimore acquired guard Ben Cavil from Philadelphia for a 1999 seventh-round pick in August 1997. Cavil immediately became useful line depth, appearing in 15 games with eight starts in 1997 and all 16 games with six starts in 1998. Baltimore got two seasons and 14 starts from a low-cost acquisition before Cleveland selected Cavil in the 1999 expansion draft.
2011 7th round pick (225th overall, Anthony Allen)
Philadelphia Eagles received
Antwan Barnes
Baltimore received the 225th pick in the 2011 draft and selected Anthony Allen. Baltimore received the 225th pick in the 2011 draft and used it on Anthony Allen. Allen appeared in twenty-one games for the Ravens over two seasons and contributed on special teams, giving Baltimore tangible roster value from a seventh-round selection. It was a modest payoff, but it exceeded what Philadelphia received from Barnes. In hindsight, that result supports a C+ grade for Baltimore Ravens in a deal ultimately judged as Baltimore Ravens Win.
Philadelphia moved down five spots in the third round and received an extra sixth-round choice, then used that bonus pick on Jason Kelce. Kelce started all 193 games of his Eagles career, made seven Pro Bowls, earned six first-team All-Pro selections and won a Super Bowl. Baltimore got tackle Jah Reid, making this one of the clearest draft-day trade wins in Eagles history.
Baltimore's trade up for Lamar Jackson gave the Ravens a two-time MVP without paying a massive draft price. Philadelphia received useful value that became real contributors, but Baltimore landed the rare quarterback who changed the shape of the franchise. The Ravens won because Jackson became a unique offensive centerpiece. Philadelphia made a defensible pick-value move, but Baltimore acquired the player who remade its offense.
Baltimore Ravens received 2019 1st round pick (25th overall, Marquise Brown); 2019 4th round pick (127th overall, Iman Marshall); 2019 6th round pick (197th overall, Trace McSorley) in the 2019-04-25 exchange with Philadelphia Eagles. Marquise Brown supplied the strongest sustained direct value from the exchange, while Iman Marshall and Trace McSorley gave Baltimore two additional selections from the move down. The direct package is the basis for the hindsight grade, with later movement of an acquired selection treated separately. That supports Baltimore Ravens Win.
Philadelphia acquired Jaire Alexander and a 2027 seventh-round pick from Baltimore for a 2026 sixth-rounder, but Alexander never played a snap for the Eagles after the trade and was placed on the Reserve/Retired list less than two weeks later. Baltimore still secured pick No. 211, later used on Ryan Eckley. Philadelphia later recovered money and cap credit, softening the damage, but the football return clearly favors the Ravens.
