Los Angeles Rams Win
Carolina Panthers B
Los Angeles Rams A+

Carolina Panthers received

  • 2015 2nd round pick (41st overall, Devin Funchess)

Los Angeles Rams received

  • 2015 2nd round pick (57th overall, Rob Havenstein), 2015 3rd round pick (89th overall, Sean Mannion) and 2015 6th round pick (201st overall, Bud Sasser)

The Rams surrendered pick No. 41 to Carolina and received Nos. 57, 89 and 201. Carolina used the premium pick on Devin Funchess, who became a useful starting receiver and scored 21 regular-season touchdowns in his career. The Rams' prize was Rob Havenstein, who developed into a long-tenured starting right tackle and outlasted every other player in the exchange. That durability makes the Rams the winner.

Haynes became a durable rotational pass rusher for the Panthers, appearing across seven seasons and producing 14 sacks. Los Angeles landed linebacker Micah Kiser at No. 147, but Carolina received the stronger long-term contribution from the deal.

Even Trade
Carolina Panthers B
Los Angeles Rams B

Carolina Panthers received

  • 2024 2nd round pick (52nd overall subsequently traded, Adonai Mitchell), 2024 5th round pick (155th overall subsequently traded, Jeremiah Trotter) and 2025 2nd round pick (57th overall subsequently traded, Tate Ratledge)

Los Angeles Rams received

  • 2024 2nd round pick (39th overall, Braden Fiske)

Los Angeles paid Carolina a substantial package to move up for defensive tackle Braden Fiske at No. 39, sending the Panthers a 2024 second-rounder, a 2024 fifth-rounder and a 2025 second-rounder. Fiske has already produced 11.5 regular-season sacks in two years and became a full-time starter. Carolina received strong draft capital, but Fiske's performance has erased the case for a lopsided Panthers win.
