Carolina Panthers received
2014 5th round pick (148th overall, Bene Benwikere)
Minnesota moved down from No. 148 in the 2014 draft, receiving picks No. 168 and No. 225 from Carolina. The Panthers selected cornerback Bene Benwikere, while Minnesota later moved No. 168 to Atlanta and used No. 225 on Jabari Price. Benwikere's 27 games and 14 starts for Carolina give the Panthers the better return.
Minnesota brought Adam Thielen home along with a 2026 seventh-round pick and a 2027 fifth-rounder, while Carolina received a 2026 fifth and a 2027 fourth. Thielen produced only eight catches for 69 yards in 11 Vikings games before his Minnesota return ended. Carolina therefore converted an aging receiver into the two more valuable selections, creating a clear value advantage for the Panthers.
Minnesota moved down two spots in the second round of the 2026 draft, sending Nos. 49 and 196 to Carolina for Nos. 51 and 159. The Panthers used No. 49 on Lee Hunter, while the Vikings selected Jake Golday at No. 51 and Max Bredeson at No. 159. Minnesota preserved access to a second-round target while improving from the sixth to the fifth round, supporting a B- versus Carolina's C.
