Cincinnati Bengals received
1975 fifth round pick (#122-Jeff West (a))
Dallas Cowboys received
Clint Longley
Dallas acquired supplemental-draft quarterback Clint Longley, whose most famous moment came in the 1974 Thanksgiving comeback against Washington. Cincinnati received the 1975 fifth-round pick used on Jeff West, who went on to a lengthy NFL career as a punter and tight end. Longley supplied Dallas a memorable short-term contribution but little sustained quarterback value. Cincinnati turned the rights to a reserve passer into a player with far greater career longevity.
2019 6th round pick (198th overall subsequently traded, Tim Harris)
Dallas Cowboys received
Bene Benwikere
Dallas acquired cornerback Bene Benwikere from Cincinnati for a conditional 2019 sixth-round pick that ultimately conveyed at No. 198. Benwikere appeared in 12 games for the Cowboys in 2017 but did not start and recorded only two tackles. Cincinnati later included No. 198 in the package used to move up for quarterback Ryan Finley, giving the Bengals modest but more durable draft flexibility from a player they were willing to move.
Cincinnati sent picks No. 149 and No. 213 to Dallas to move up for guard Michael Jordan at No. 136. Jordan made starts during two Bengals seasons but did not become a long-term fixture. Dallas used No. 213 on Donovan Wilson and later turned No. 149 into additional draft capital, giving the Cowboys a multiyear starting safety and the stronger overall return.
2026 seventh-round pick (221st overall, Jack Endries)
Dallas Cowboys received
Logan Wilson
Cincinnati traded linebacker Logan Wilson to Dallas on November 4, 2025, for a 2026 seventh-round pick that became No. 221 overall. The Bengals used it on tight end Jack Endries, who made Cincinnati's initial 53-man roster in 2026. Dallas received seven games and one start from Wilson before waiving him in February, giving Cincinnati a slight early value edge.
