Tennessee Titans received
Jerry Rhome
Cleveland traded Jerry Rhome to Houston on January 27, 1970 for Houston's third-round pick, No. 66. That choice did not become Cleveland's own drafted player: it was the conditional third-round payment Cleveland owed Dallas from the earlier Rhome acquisition, and Dallas used No. 66 on Charlie Waters. The record should preserve the acquired pick while making the downstream Dallas conveyance explicit.
Cleveland acquired rookie wide receiver Willie Miller from Houston on July 16, 1975 for its 1976 twelfth-round pick, No. 324. Miller played all 14 games for the Browns that season, catching seven passes for 57 yards and making three starts.
2016 6th round pick (176th overall; subsequently traded by Tennessee)
Cleveland moved down from No. 8 in the 2016 draft and received Nos. 15 and 76 plus the 2017 No. 52 pick, which became Corey Coleman, Shon Coleman and DeShone Kizer. The Browns accumulated premium volume but did not turn the three core selections into lasting high-level value. Tennessee used No. 8 on Jack Conklin, whose immediate and sustained performance created the decisive advantage.
Cleveland acquired wide receiver Taywan Taylor from Tennessee on August 31, 2019 for the Browns' 2020 seventh-round pick at No. 224. Taylor appeared in six regular-season games over two Cleveland seasons, including one start, and returned three kickoffs for 53 yards but did not record a reception.
Cleveland traded tackle Leroy Watson IV to Tennessee on April 12, 2024 for the 227th pick in the draft. The Browns later used that seventh-round selection on South Dakota cornerback Myles Harden. Tennessee added familiar offensive-line depth, while Cleveland converted a reserve tackle into a young draft asset. The modest exchange still tilts toward the Browns, producing a C+ to C result.
