Los Angeles acquired edge rusher Dante Fowler from Jacksonville at the 2018 trade deadline for a 2019 third-round pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick. The Rams acquired Dante Fowler at the 2018 deadline and received immediate pass-rush help for a Super Bowl run, then re-signed him for 2019 when he produced a career-high 11.5 sacks. Jacksonville turned the picks into Quincy Williams and Collin Johnson, but neither delivered comparable value for the Jaguars. Fowler's postseason impact and strong 2019 season make Los Angeles the winner.
2021 4th round pick (130th overall subsequently traded, Robert Rochell)
Los Angeles Rams received
Jalen Ramsey
The Rams acquired Jalen Ramsey from Jacksonville for first-round picks in 2020 and 2021 plus a 2021 fourth-rounder. Ramsey became an All-Pro centerpiece of Los Angeles' secondary and helped the Rams win Super Bowl LVI. Jacksonville turned the first-rounders into K'Lavon Chaisson and Travis Etienne, giving the Jaguars useful talent but not an equivalent defensive star.
2021 7th round pick (249th overall, Ben Skowronek)
Jacksonville moved up from No. 130 to No. 121 in the 2021 draft and added No. 209, selecting Jordan Smith and Jalen Camp. The Rams received Nos. 130, 170 and 249, using the package on Robert Rochell, later trade capital, and Ben Skowronek. Los Angeles extracted more usable depth and optionality from the exchange, earning a B to Jacksonville's C-.
