Trade 1

August 31, 2015

Jacksonville Jaguars Win
Jacksonville Jaguars B+
Pittsburgh Steelers D

Jacksonville Jaguars received

  • 2016 6th round pick (201st overall, Brandon Allen)

Pittsburgh Steelers received

  • Josh Scobee

Jacksonville traded veteran kicker Josh Scobee to Pittsburgh on August 31, 2015 for a 2016 sixth-round pick, later No. 201 and used on Brandon Allen. Scobee's Pittsburgh tenure lasted only four games before the Steelers released him after costly misses. Jacksonville did not receive Allen's later production with other clubs as direct value, but converting a departing kicker into a draft choice still produced the better result.

Trade 2

September 9, 2019

Pittsburgh Steelers Win
Jacksonville Jaguars D+
Pittsburgh Steelers B

Jacksonville Jaguars received

  • Joshua Dobbs

Pittsburgh Steelers received

  • 2020 5th round pick (154th overall subsequently traded, Jason Strowbridge)

Jacksonville Jaguars acquired Joshua Dobbs from Pittsburgh in 2019 for a 2020 fifth-round pick. Dobbs did not appear in a regular-season game for Jacksonville before returning to the Steelers the following year, so the Jaguars gained almost no direct on-field value. Giving up useful fifth-round capital for a backup quarterback who never played leaves Jacksonville with a D+.

Trade 3

August 14, 2021

Pittsburgh Steelers Win
Jacksonville Jaguars C
Pittsburgh Steelers B-

Jacksonville Jaguars received

  • 2022 6th round pick (198th overall subsequently traded, Grant Calcaterra)

Pittsburgh Steelers received

  • Joe Schobert

Jacksonville Jaguars Jacksonville received the 2022 sixth-round pick at No. 198 and later used it as part of additional draft movement. The pick preserved some value, but the direct return was less substantial than Pittsburgh's season of starting linebacker production. The supported hindsight grade is C. That mark weighs only value tied directly to this transaction and keeps the result proportional to the deal's cost. Against Pittsburgh Steelers, the final verdict is Pittsburgh Steelers Win.
