Cincinnati acquired 2004 2nd round pick (56th overall, Madieu Williams) from New England Patriots for Corey Dillon. Cincinnati moved a disgruntled star for a useful safety, but Dillon’s Patriots resurgence and Super Bowl role tilted the value away from the Bengals. note: lowered Cincinnati on the Corey Dillon trade because Dillon became a major Patriots contributor and Super Bowl piece, while the Bengals’ return was useful but not comparable.
