Green Bay acquired 2023 2nd round pick (48th overall subsequently traded, Cody Mauch) and 2023 5th round pick (159th overall, Dontayvion Wicks) from Detroit Lions for 2023 2nd round pick (45th overall, Brian Branch). The Packers side produced stronger hindsight value, either through the better player outcome, better draft conversion, or a superior capital return. Green Bay gets the higher grade because the retained value and on-field return outweighed the cost.
