Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants
New York Giants Win Tier: major
Confidence: high
Los Angeles sent Andy Robustelli to the Giants in July 1956 for New York's 1957 first-round pick, later used on Del Shofner. Robustelli immediately helped the Giants win the 1956 NFL championship and became a Hall of Fame defensive leader. The Rams still received major value: Shofner developed into an elite receiver. New York won the trade, but Los Angeles deserved far more credit than its old D+ grade.
