Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders
Washington Redskins Win Tier: major
Confidence: high
Washington acquired future Hall of Fame quarterback Sonny Jurgensen and defensive back Jimmy Carr from Philadelphia for quarterback Norm Snead and defensive back Claude Crabb on March 31, 1964. Snead gave the Eagles seven seasons and earned Pro Bowl recognition, so Philadelphia did receive a real starting quarterback. Jurgensen, however, became a Washington icon, led the league in passing multiple times, and ultimately entered Canton. The star power and longevity make Washington the clear winner.
