Tampa Bay acquired running back Thomas Jones from Arizona in June 2003 for wide receiver Marquise Walker. Jones rushed for 627 yards at 4.6 yards per carry in his lone Buccaneers season, then went on to a long, productive career elsewhere. Walker never played a regular-season game for Arizona. Tampa Bay therefore received meaningful immediate production for a player who produced no Cardinals return, making the Buccaneers the clear winner.
Washington moved up to No. 35 in the 2006 draft for linebacker Rocky McIntosh, sending the Jets picks 53 and 189 plus a 2007 second-rounder.
