Beisler became a six-year 49ers contributor, appearing in 79 games with 49 starts and starting 41 games from 1970 through 1972 alone. The third-rounder became No. 55 Sam Dickerson, who did not play a regular-season game for San Francisco after Green Bay claimed him before the 1971 season.

Conwell signed immediately and became useful offensive-line depth, playing 28 games with 21 starts over two Eagles seasons. San Francisco later moved the acquired pick to the Raiders, who used No. 288 on Chris McLemore, so McLemore was not a 49ers selection. Philadelphia clearly received the stronger direct return.
