Williams became a useful Eagle late in his tenure, appearing in 33 regular-season games from 2001 through 2003 and starting 12, before developing into a long-term starter elsewhere. Philadelphia found a legitimate NFL lineman, but most of his career value arrived after he left the Eagles.

Philadelphia moved up six spots for tackle Winston Justice, giving Tennessee picks 45 and 116. The Titans turned those selections into running back LenDale White and linebacker Stephen Tulloch. Getting two productive starters from the move down, including a long-term defensive regular, outweighed the value Philadelphia received from Justice and makes Tennessee the clear winner.

  • 2016 4th round pick (113th overall subsequently traded, Nick Kwiatkoski)

Philadelphia escaped a disastrous one-year fit with DeMarco Murray and improved its position in the fourth round, sending Murray and pick No. 113 to Tennessee for No. 100. The Eagles later folded No. 100 into the Carson Wentz trade, so the deal had strategic value. Still, Murray immediately rebounded in Tennessee, making the Titans the stronger winner on realized football value.

  • 2017 6th round pick (214th overall, Elijah Qualls)

Tennessee Titans received

  • 2017 5th round pick (155th overall, Jayon Brown)

Philadelphia received Nos. 164 and 214. The Eagles later moved No. 164 again, so Isaac Asiata belongs to the subsequent transaction chain rather than this return, while Elijah Qualls appeared in only six games for Philadelphia. The package retained draft flexibility, but the direct realized football value was limited and did not approach the sustained defensive production Tennessee obtained.
