New York moved up seven spots in the sixth round on April 29, 2017, sending picks No. 207 and No. 241 to Tennessee for No. 200. The Giants' official draft recap says New York sent its sixth-round pick at No. 207 and seventh-round pick at No. 241 to Tennessee for No. 200, then selected Pittsburgh offensive tackle Adam Bisnowaty. Tennessee's official 2017 transaction ledger records the same exchange. The legacy asset structure is otherwise correct, but the downstream use of No. 207 is essential to understanding why the Titans ultimately realized more value than the Giants.
Bisnowaty's New York career was extremely brief. He was initially waived at final cuts, signed to the Giants' practice squad, and was promoted late in the season. Pro Football Reference credits him with one regular-season game and one start in 2017. That start came at right tackle in the finale, and his Giants tenure ended the following offseason. A sixth-round trade-up is inexpensive in absolute terms, but New York still surrendered an extra seventh-round asset for a player who contributed only one regular-season game.
Tennessee used the acquired No. 241 pick directly on California running back Khalfani Muhammad.
