Washington Commanders and New York Jets
New York gave Washington a 2017 fourth-round pick to acquire No. 158 in 2016 and drafted tackle Brandon Shell. Shell became a four-year Jets contributor with 40 starts. Washington used the future pick on Samaje Perine, who rushed for 603 yards as a rookie but had a much smaller role the next season. Perine had value, but New York received more sustained starting production.
