Editorial analysis, grades, and verdicts
TradeVerdicts includes editorial opinions about trade outcomes. Verdicts such as team wins, losses, or even trades are analysis, not official results.
Grades and verdicts are generally based on hindsight. That means a trade may be evaluated by what the exchanged players, picks, and assets became over time, not only how the deal looked on the day it happened.
A verdict is not a claim that a team knew the future, made an irrational decision at the time, or had access to later information. It is a way to summarize how the value of the deal appears after the outcomes are known.
Accuracy, old records, and corrections
Trade history can be complicated. Older trades may involve former franchise names, incomplete reporting, conditional picks, undisclosed consideration, cash, player rights, draft assets that were later traded, or conflicting historical references.

The presence of a trade page does not guarantee that every detail is complete or final.

Sports team names, player names, league names, logos, statistics, and historical transaction references may belong to their respective owners. TradeVerdicts uses such references for identification, commentary, historical discussion, and editorial analysis.
You may not copy or reproduce substantial portions of TradeVerdicts' database, written analysis, or page structure without permission.

Team names, player names, league names, and trade references are used for identification, historical context, commentary, and editorial analysis.
