Grizzlies Win. Lee fit Memphis immediately as a two-way guard and wing on a playoff-caliber roster. His shooting, defensive competence and multi-season usefulness gave the Grizzlies the clearest direct basketball value of the three participants. Boston’s return was mainly short-term, with Bayless providing guard minutes during a transition year and Gomes not becoming part of the long-term core. Oklahoma City’s compensation was draft-based and modest, but two second-round opportunities were reasonable consideration for facilitating the deal.
